EDUCATION
Dr. Stephen M. Busch received a Bachelor of Science in Biology earning high honors from Juniata College. He attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine from 1982 to 1986.
EXPERIENCE
After graduation, he completed a rotating internship at The Osteopathic Medical Center of Philadelphia in 1987. He then completed a three year Residency in Ophthalmology in 1990. Dr. Busch moved his wife and two children to Midlothian in the spring of 1991. He established Chesterfield Ophthalmology and has continued to grow as a solo practitioner in Comprehensive ophthalmology. Dr. Busch’s area of expertise includes Cataract Surgery.
PRACTICE
Dr. Busch is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist. He believes that a thorough understanding of your medical and/or surgical problems and treatment allows you to make an informed and educated choice. His practice’s mission is to educate the patient, while providing the safest, most advanced medical and surgical care. This knowledge allows the patient to take an active role in the treatment which is an important part of the healing process.

Dr. Busch is past Chief of the Medical Staff at Stony Point Surgery Center in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Busch enjoys summit hiking and fly fishing.
