Dr. Edmondson specializes in urological care of infants, children, and adolescents.
EDUCATION
Dr. Edmondson, a Richmond native, received his undergraduate degree at James Madison University and his Doctor of Medicine at the Medical College of Virginia. He trained in Urology at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals before moving on to receive post-graduate fellowship training in Urologic Oncology at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia and Pediatric Urology at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
EXPERIENCE
Dr. Edmondson is board certified in Urology sub-specializing in Pediatric Urology. He is also a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is an active member of the American Urological Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, Society of Pediatric Urology, Society of Fetal Urology, Endourological Society, Medical Society of Virginia and the Richmond Academy of Medicine.

Dr. Edmondson is a founding member of Children’s Urology of Virginia located in Richmond near Stony Point. Children’s Urology of Virginia provides state-of-the art Pediatric Urologic care to Central Virginia and beyond.
PERSONAL PROFILE
Dr. Edmondson lives in the Richmond area with his wife, Amanda, and two children, Avery and Mackenzie. In his spare time, Dr. Edmondson enjoys his family, spending time with friends and athletic activities.
