Dr. Garrett specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery, cosmetic procedures, laser surgery and skin cancer.
EDUCATION
Dr. Algin Garrett, certified by the American Board of Dermatology, received his medical education at Pennsylvania State University/Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, followed by an internship at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Having completed two residencies, one in internal medicine at Washington VA Medical Center, and one in dermatology at VCU Medical Center, he then completed his fellowship training at Cleveland Clinic (Mohs Surgery).
PRACTICE
Dr. Garrett is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Dermatology at VCU Medical Center. His specialties include Mohs micrographic surgery, cosmetic procedures, laser surgery and skin cancer.
