William B. Stewart, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Education

Dr. Stewart received his undergraduate degree from Colgate University and his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey.  He completed a surgery residency at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Philadelphia.  Dr. Stewart also completed a Fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans. 

Experience

Dr. Stewart is board-certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery.  He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.

Practice

Dr. Stewart has been with Colon and Rectal Specialists since 1978.  Established in 1913, Colon and Rectal Specialists is one of the oldest continually operating groups of colon and rectal surgeons in the country. The physicians and staff of Colon & Rectal Specialists are committed to providing to all patients the special care and education that is needed for the treatment of colon and rectal problems.
