Dr. Charron specializes in the diseases of the colon and rectum. He is also a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Charron joined Colon & Rectal Specialists, Ltd. in summer of 2008. Dr. Charron practices minimally invasive surgery to include laparoscopy and robotic surgery. Dr. Charron strongly believes in patient empowerment and a teamwork approach to colon, rectum, and anal disease.
Dr. Charron received his undergraduate degree in biology from James Madison University in 1993. He later obtained his M.D. from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in May 2002. Dr. Charron completed his general surgery residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center in June 2007. After completing residency, he went on to complete a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the Northwest Colon and Rectal Clinic in Seattle, Washington, June 2008. Dr. Charron is a board-certified general surgeon with the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Charron is also board-certified in colon and rectal surgery.
In his free time, Dr. Charron enjoys spending time with his wife cooking and exploring the great outdoors, hiking or cycling. He is also an avid sports fan.
