Charitable Care and Financial Assistance Policy
Stony Point Surgery Center’s Financial Assistance Policy exists to provide Eligible Patients (as defined below) partially or fully discounted emergent or medically-necessary care at Stony Point Surgery Center (“Financial Assistance”). Eligible Patients seeking Financial Assistance must apply for the program by completing a Financial Assistance Application Form.
Eligible Patients – Those patients with or without third party insurance coverage with family income of over 200% and less than 300% of the Federal Poverty Guideline Levels are eligible for discounted care. Eligible Patients will not be charged more for Emergency or other medically necessary care provided by Stony Point Surgery Center and its non-physician staff than Amounts Generally Billed (AGB) to those patients who are insured by Medicare.
