PracticeDr. Love enjoys the full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic care. She has particular interests in adolescent and teen health, reproductive health, menopause, and minimally invasive surgery. She is enthusiastic about low-intervention hospital births, but also is comfortable caring for women during high-risk pregnancies. She has a passion for caring for women and has volunteered her medical services both locally and internationally. Additionally, Dr. Love is fluent in medical Spanish. Sheis a junior fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as a member of the Richmond Academy of Medicine.
EducationDr. Love earned a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, where she graduated summa cum laude. She earned her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, where she also completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
ProfileDr. Love, her husband, and their two terriers reside in Richmond. In her spare time, Dr. Love enjoys hiking, traveling, and visiting local museums and festivals.
AwardsDuring her residency, she was awarded the William C. Langdon Award which recognized the personal concern she demonstrated for her patients, as well as the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine Award for Excellence in Obstetrics.
