PracticeDr. Loughran specializes in sports medicine with special interests in specialized complex knee and shoulder ligament reconstruction, arthroscopic shoulder stabilization and rotator cuff repair, arthroscopic meniscal repair and meniscal transplantation, cartilage regeneration procedures, hip arthroscopic labral repair and impingement procedure, ankle arthroscopy and ligament reconstruction, and compartment syndrome evaluations. He is a member of Arthroscopy Association of North America, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Orthopaedic Trauma Association, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, Richmond Orthopaedic Society, and Orthopaedic consultant, Society of Sports Therapy, United Kingdom.
EducationDr. Loughran received his medical degree from the University of Virginia. He completed his residency at the University of Virginia before completing an Internship at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida and a fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
